Kin IT

So what is Kin IT then?

Well, in all my years of working with computers dealing with Hardware, Software and User problems, I have come across certain issues that have caused me, or people around me, to say “Fucking IT”. I have shortened that expression so that it is a bit more acceptable for me to say it in environments where it should not really be said. Hence the phrase “Kin IT”

It was first muttered by a colleague of mine, who shall remain nameless except for the nickname BUSTIT! He used to mutter that to me and my then boss DMTH when something had gone wrong while we were on our knees with our heads in server racks/cupboards trying to work out what was up!

Where possible, I have taken a screenshot or taken a photo of the “Kin IT” so that I can include them on here. Some wonderful issues I have not been able to capture, due to the sensitive nature of the work being done or for legal reasons. Everything you see is 100% legitimate and has not been PaintDotNet’d as far as i know, with the exception of the removal of confidential information, such as Server names, IP Addresses, Usernames, Nicknames, Company Names or anything else that could be potentially damaging.
